We analysed and tested numerous yarns for various criteria and their properties. No single material was able to fulfill our expectations. After a lengthy process, we were left with three natural fibres which, when combined, offer an unsurpassed performance spectrum in terms of thermoregulation and moisture management.

SKINDRY MICROMODAL
The hydrophobic Skindry MicroModal is a cellulose fiber made from beech wood. Positioned on the inside, it is responsible for the rapid transport of liquid.
SOLUCELL
The hydrophilic SolucellAirTM is a hollow cotton yarn with unique properties, making it highly absorbent, fast drying and warming.
MOISTURE MANAGEMENT
ACTIVE's patented material mix efficiently wicks sweat away from the body. The regulated removal of liquid at the right speed is important so that the body does not constantly produce sweat.
Not evaporating too quickly will naturally cool you down without creating an uncomfortable chill factor. The cooling effect takes place away from the skin versus directly next to the skin. This provides softer or more comfortable cooling and avoids direct post activity chilling.

THERMOREGULATING
ACTIVE helps to keep the head area at a constant temperature even under exertion and accordingly reduces the body's own effort to compensate for temperature. This enables optimized performance and efficiency.

BIODEGRADABLE
All three components of ACTIVE are purely natural and renewable raw materials with many advantages and highly functional properties that are also biodegradable.
Longevity with proper care.
To ensure the longevity of your ACTIVE product, it’s important to keep these tips in mind. ACTIVE products protect nature in multiple ways. The natural properties of Merino wool require less frequent washing compared to other fabrics. It’s better to air them out more often rather than washing them frequently.
Stubborn stains should always be treated immediately when they occur.
We recommend not washing the product by hand. A special wool or delicate cycle (with a low spin speed of up to 800 RPM—the lower, the better) in the washing machine at 30°C provides the best results. The machine should not be filled more than 50% of its capacity, but the product can be washed together with other fabrics like cotton or synthetics.
Important: Only use wool-specific or enzyme-free delicate detergents (enzymes break down proteins and damage the wool structure).
Lay the product flat to dry. If the product has lost its shape slightly, it can be gently reshaped while drying.
